Terms of Service – GeoBubble Staff

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GeoBubble Staff mobile application (“App”), provided by Search7 Pty Ltd trading as GeoBubble (“GeoBubble,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

Service Description

GeoBubble Staff is a companion application to the GeoBubble platform. It is designed for use by business owners, managers, and authorised employees (“Staff Users”) within a business, organisation, or venue that has established a GeoBubble (“Bubble”). The App provides tools for:

• Receiving and managing real-time customer service requests
  
• Auto check-in/out notifications when customers enter or exit a Bubble
  
• Delivering and updating safety instructions
  
• Sending announcements and alerts to customers in the Bubble
  
• Multilingual chat and real-time translation for staff–customer communication
  
• Managing laundry, concierge, and other operational requests
  
• Accessing annotated maps and coordinating guest navigation
  

The App is intended for internal operational use only. It complements the GeoBubble consumer app but has distinct responsibilities and obligations.

Eligibility and Accounts

To use GeoBubble Staff, you must be:

• An employee, contractor, or authorised agent of a business or organisation that has created a Bubble.
  

By registering, you confirm that you are authorised by your employer or business to use the App for operational purposes. Business owners are responsible for ensuring that only authorised staff have access.

Staff Users must register accounts with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.

Use of the App

You agree to use the App solely for legitimate business operations within your employer’s or organisation’s Bubble. Prohibited uses include:

• Using the App for personal, non-business purposes.
  
• Sharing customer data outside the scope of your employment duties.
  
• Misusing location data or translation services.
  
• Harassing, discriminating against, or otherwise mistreating customers or other staff members.
  

GeoBubble reserves the right to suspend or terminate access by any Staff User who misuses the App or violates these Terms.

Business Owner Responsibilities

Business owners or administrators who create Bubbles (“Business Users”):

• Are responsible for configuring their Bubbles, assigning staff roles, and managing staff access permissions.
  
• Must ensure that customer data and communications are used in compliance with applicable privacy and employment laws.
  
• Are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and delivery of services provided to their customers through GeoBubble.
  

GeoBubble is not responsible for employment relationships, workplace practices, or customer service outcomes.

Location Data

The App may collect and process Staff Users’ location data (only while the App is active) to facilitate operational features, such as confirming when a staff member is within a venue’s geofence. Business owners may use such data for operational management (e.g., assigning tasks, verifying presence). Staff Users consent to this use by activating and using the App.

Payments and Financial Transactions

Some Bubbles may involve financial transactions (for example, processing customer service requests, orders, or laundry charges). Payments are handled by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe or equivalent). Staff Users may facilitate, but not personally collect or retain, customer payments through the App.

GeoBubble does not act as an employer, payment processor, or financial intermediary between staff and businesses. All employment-related payments, wages, or reimbursements are the responsibility of the business owner/employer.

Data and Privacy

Staff Users may have access to customer information (including names, chat content, requests, and in some cases limited location data). You agree to:

• Use such information only for the purpose of fulfilling your operational duties.
  
• Not disclose, copy, or misuse customer data outside the scope of your employment.
  
• Comply with applicable privacy, employment, and consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
  

GeoBubble’s collection and processing of staff data (including account information, login credentials, and location data) are described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

GeoBubble retains all rights in the platform, App, and associated content. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the App for your employer’s operational purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or otherwise exploit the App except as expressly permitted in these Terms.

Suspension and Termination

GeoBubble may suspend or terminate any Staff User’s access at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. Businesses may also suspend or revoke a Staff User’s access through the admin dashboard.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” GeoBubble makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the App, its availability, or its fitness for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• GeoBubble is not liable for the actions, omissions, or conduct of any business, employer, or staff member using the App.
  
  
• GeoBubble is not responsible for employment disputes, wage claims, or service quality.
  

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the business or staff user resides. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

Amendments

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be effective when published within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
